Live Activities (1)

Live activities display information about your active timers, and allow you to interact with them, while Adhoro is in the background. Live Activities are shown on the lock screen or the Dynamic Island of your phone, depending on your device and its current state, and may also appear in the Smart Stack of a paired Apple Watch. They are turned on by default, and can be disabled here. You also have control over Live Activities in your system settings and are given the option to deactivate them when first displayed. Note that you will have to re-enable Live Activities for Adhoro in your system settings first if you disabled them outside the app and want to turn them on again.

Full Screen (2)

The Prefer Full Screen toggle allows you to start all your timers in full-screen mode, even if not set to prefer full-screen in the individual timer plans or categories.

Quick Timer Alerts (3)

This lets you configure one or more alerts that are played when a Quick Timer is done. Each can be an audio signal, text-to-speech and/or vibration. This only applies to countdown timers: stopwatches don’t play alerts at the end. The selected alerts will then play in sequence. You can remove alerts by swiping left and add additional ones with the Add button. Tapping an alert will lead to a configuration screen for that alert, in an identical manner to the Compose Tab.

Text-To-Speech (4)

You can select a voice to use for text-to-speech in Adhoro. By default, a standard voice matching your language and region settings is used. This leads to a list with all voices available for Adhoro on your device. The available voices depend on those installed, which can be controlled in your system settings, although not all voices are available for non-Apple apps such as Adhoro. You can play a sample text with each voice to try them out first.

Category Defaults (5)

Set defaults used for timers and timer plans in each category, currently General, Productivity, Sports, and Cooking. These settings generally apply to all new timer plans and elements added when editing, but won’t be used retroactively..

Default End Alert (6)

Configure alerts at the end to use for new countdown timer elements added to timer plans in this category.

Confirm Timers (7)

Here you can control if new countdown timer elements should require your interaction to confirm them when they finish, or if they should simply run on. By default, this is deactivated for timers in the Sports category, and set for all others.

Prefer Fullscreen (8)

This lets you choose if all timers in this category should run in full-screen mode. This setting will also be used for all new timer plans in this category. By default, this is activated for Sports timers.
